

Linda Thomas
Linda Thomas has been a business leader, entrepreneur, and community servant for more than 30 years, in Michigan as well as Missouri. She is an expert in process re-engineering; development and implementation of cost reduction and revenue enhancement programs; and project management. Currently, she serves as a partner in Strategic Partners International (SPI), where she leads as President of the Management Consulting Division. She was also Founder and President of Thomas Management Consulting, where her clients included the City of St. Louis; IBM; Detroit Public Schools; Sverdrup; Camp Dresser McKee; and Oracle.
Background
Thomas has worked abroad on numerous projects including assignments in Spain and England, where she served Galleria in Madrid, improving customer service and increasing sales; and Barclays in London. She distinguished herself as the first African American woman to be awarded two major concessions at the St. Louis Airport: Chili’s and TCBY. She has traveled throughout the world, visiting Asia, Europe, South America, the Middle East, Australia and Africa on educational and business tours. She was a delegate to the African-African American Summit in South Africa and Zimbabwe.
Thomas holds a Bachelor of Science in Business with a Management Concentration from the University of Missouri-St. Louis; and has an Executive Certificate in Effective Decision-Making from the John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University.
Thomas is a member of The Oakland County (MI) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated, an African American women's professional and service organization; a National Board Member for CARATS Incorporated; and has served on numerous civic and community boards. She is a recent recipient of The Michigan Chronicle’s “Women of Excellence” Award.
